Meet the Trier's
Ford Motor Company's President's Award winning dealership. |
|
Trier's has been in business since 1935 -- first established by Arthur W. Trier as an International Harvester farm implements store. He was then joined by 2 sons, Arthur H. and Vernon E., in 1946. Both sons were returning from WW II. At that time the business expanded by adding the Hudson automobile franchise. When Hudson consolidated with American Motors in 1954, Trier's switched the automobile franchise to Lincoln-Mercury and in 1961 dropped the International Harvester franchise to concentrate on the automobile business.
1967 saw the beginning of the third generation of Trier's to enter into the business, Dee, Grant, and Tom.
|
|
Dee Trier serves as the Service, Parts, and Body Shop Supervisor.
Grant Trier serves as the New Car Sales Supervisor.
Tom Trier serves as the Used Car Manager. |
Many changes have occurred over the most recent decades:
- the Ford franchise was added to the business in 1980
- a new service and parts facility was constructed in 1989
- land purchased for a used car lot in 1992
- the Chrysler-Plymouth-Dodge and Jeep-Eagle franchises were added in 1993
- a new showroom was constructed in 1995
Arthur W. Trier, founder of the business has since died (1967) and the second generation of Trier's, Arthur H. and Vernon E. have both retired (1986 and 1996, respectively). But the philosophy of the business has remained the same -- provide as wide a selection of vehicles as possible and deliver them with the ultimate of "home-town" service. |
|
This commitment to "home-town" service is the basis of Trier's business today, making it a President's Award winning dealership for quality care of its customers. |
